The Democrats' mismanagement of the
Iowa Caucus messed up their chances
of winning back the White House
bby Nathan'ette Burdine: February 11, 2020

Welp, it’s official! By not managing the process of running the Iowa Caucus right, the Democratic Party in Iowa and the national Democratic Party messed up the chances of any of the Democratic candidates becoming the next president of the United States.

The folks over the Democratic Party in Iowa and the national Democratic Party decided the best way to run a caucus was by doing things, like nominating the caucus chairs, at the last minute and using an untested app from a company called Shadow Inc. in order to count the votes.

I know, a lot of this stuff is just common sense. For instance, it’s common sense to know that you don’t hire folks at the last minute.

It’s common sense to know that you don’t use untested technology to certify the results of a caucus that will help determine who may be the next president of the United States.

It’s common sense to know that you take every precaution whenever you’re talking about choosing the next leader of the free world.

But you see here, folks, you end up with bad results whenever you don’t have the common sense to know what to do. And that there is not good for the Democrats because what it means is that folks are going to look at the Democrats and say to themselves, “How are they going to run a country when they don’t even have the common sense enough to know how to run a caucus right?!”

Folks will be right. Because if you can’t run a caucus in a state with a population of 3 plus million people, then you can’t run a country with a nation of 300 plus million people.

The parties provide the political infrastructure that the candidates use during the presidential race and during their time as president. Therefore, if your political infrastructure is broken, then your campaign is broken; which means you’ll have a broken presidency. The Democrats know this. That’s why Troy Price (chairman of the Iowa Democratic Party) and Tom Perez (chairman of the Democratic Party) are pointing the finger at each other.

Perez is telling everybody that he wants to know “what the hell happened,” while Price is telling everybody that the “hell” that “happened” is due to the Shadow Inc., app.

The funny thing about all of that is Perez is blaming Price for using the app that Perez was ok with other state party leaders using. Now, Perez can run around here playing like he knew nothing about the app, but the truth is in the pudding. And what that pudding is saying is that it’s impossible for Tom Perez to not know about the app that his former boss’, then President Barack Obama’s, 2012 presidential campaign digital producer Tara McGowan’s company, ACRONYM, developed in order to help the Democrats win elections.

That there is like Benny lying to the state police about not knowing that his business partner and best friend Tommy is running around Georgia with their other friend, Leroy Jones, selling bad moonshine that’s been putting folks in the hospital for years.

Birds of a feather do create a lot of mess together. Therefore, just like Benny knows about Tommy and Leroy Jones selling that bad shine, Perez knew that Price was using McGowan’s company’s untested app made by Shadow Inc., in order to count the votes.

Speaking of mess, let’s talk about the mess of the election results. The election results the Democratic Party of Iowa gave to us aren’t final because the results aren’t matching up with what the precincts have.

Plus, there are only 55 precincts out of 1,765 precincts with updated results. And you can’t name a winner of a caucus when you still have 1,710 precincts that haven’t been updated. To top it off, there are still questions about whether the 55 precincts that are updated are legit. Heck, even the Associated Press and the Des Moines Register are giving the side eye to the results that the Iowa Democratic Party have given.

The Des Moines Register quoted the Associated Press as saying, “It was unable to declare a Democratic Caucus winner because it believes the results may not be fully accurate.”  The Des Moines Register then turn around and wrote that their organization “and other media outlets also found inconsistencies and errors with some reported results.”

Price fixed his lips to tell everybody that he washes his hands of the whole mess because the results are “legally binding.”

What makes the results “legally binding,” you ask? Welp, the precincts’ chairs and campaign representatives signing off on the results is what makes the results “legally binding.”

Don’t forget, now, that a good number of the precincts’ chairs were chosen on the day of the caucus, meaning they weren’t properly trained on what to do and what not to do, and that a lot of these campaign representatives came from campaigns that used the untested Shadow Inc., app for their campaigns.

Pete Buttigieg, who is the “unofficial winner” of the Iowa Caucus, used the app back in July of 2019 in order to get folks to subscribe to the things he had going on.

Joe Biden and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand , who jumped out of the race before it began good, used the app in 2019 to build up their fundraising list and to send text messages out to their supporters and people who they wanted to support them.

Other folks who used the app were the folks over the Nevada Democratic Party and the folks over the Texas Democratic Party. But due to all of this mess that’s hit the fan, those folks have decided to stop using Shadow Inc., services.

With all that is going on with Russia using modern day technology in order to stick their noses in everybody else’s election business, a person would think that everybody on this side of the water would know, by now, not to hire a company with the name “Shadow Inc.,” to count votes.

Just stop to think about that for a moment. Why would you hire a company with a name that sounds like it’s something that Putin and his KGB minions came up with? I can hear Putin, right now, “Create shadow app to give votes to my American candidate.”

It’s really no different than Rudy Giuliani’s buddy Lev Parnas who has been charged with trying to use his company, Fraud Guarantee, to interfere in a presidential election by going to Ukraine to dig up dirt on the Bidens. But hey, that’s what happens whenever you have a company with a name like Fraud Guarantee that tells on you.

What’s in a name?! Everything! Yet, there are people like Parnas, Giuliani, and the folks over the Democratic Party who are just stuck on stupid so to the point that they can’t see before them the big red sign with the word “STOP” on it.

The Democrats aren’t paying any never mind to the fact that it was their decision to not manage the Iowa Caucus right that led to this mess that is nothing but a foreshadowing of the one thing the Democrats throughout the country don’t want to happen; which is for them to lose the 2020 Presidential Election to Donald John Trump Sr.

I know it sounds superstitious. But hey, I pay attention to the signs before my eyes. The debacle during the 2012 Republican Iowa Caucus is the sign that I’m paying attention to because the same level of stupidity that led to that mess is no different than the same level of stupidity that has led to the mess on the Democratic Party’s side.

Don’t go getting all mad and ornery at me, now! I’m just calling it like I see it. And the 2012 Republican Iowa Caucus is a big, bright red sign that the White House is not in the Democratic Party’s future in 2020.

You still don’t believe me?! Well, go ask former Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney how things turned out for him after he lost the Republican Iowa Caucus to Rick Santorum to only end up losing the 2012 Presidential Election to a fella by the name of Barack Hussein Obama Jr. Poor Mitt Romney!

He had to wait seven years later in order to have a seat in the Senate whereby he is forced to helplessly watch as a charlatan brings down his party. It sucks! And with the way this little shindig of an election is going on the Democratic side, things are going to suck big time for them too.

But hey, just like the 2012 Republicans, the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for their willful stupidity. All they had to do in Iowa is what folks do every day, which is to use their common sense.

If the Democrats had done that, they wouldn’t be in this pickle of a mess whereby they are slated to lose a presidential election just like the Republicans did in 2012.
